The nobbling of the favourite plays ah imEortant part in most sporting dramas, ni in tho present instance it is to the stealing of the animal a day or two hefore it is exuected to win the Gold Cup that the villain directs his attontion. There _ are a number of notable things in this play redolent of tho turf—starting gates, a weighing room. cix horses, and other jparaphernalia of the racecourse. The box plan is now open at the Dresden.
