During this month, very heavy frosts have been experienced. Feed is very scarce, and many fanners are having an anxious time, as nearly all stock has to he hand-fed. The fanners on the heavier lands aro increasing their herd_y of cows for the incoming milking season.
A Btart has been made with the new Roman Catholic Church. It is prettily situated, inside the township boundary, in Delamaine street.
