CANTERBURY RUGBY UNION.

Tho Management Committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union met last evening. Pro-sent—-Messrs G. H. "Mason (chairman), F. D. Keetcven, T. Bain, G. Scott, W. Allardyce, F. T. Evans, S. F. Wilson, and tho hon. secretary (Mr W. G. Garrard). The Lancaster Pork Committee wrote thanking tbo Union for a donation of £26 ISs 6d, being the proceeds of the recent Col-lege-Boys' High School .match. Tho Wellington ftugby Union requested that the -Canterbury Union should take control of the Country Tcains-Christchurch match. This was agreed to. The Glentunnel Football Club wrote expressing dissatisfaction at the Malvern Sub-Union's application of tho competitions' rule, namely, in preventing an unregistered payer from taking part in a match. After eomo discussion it was decided to ask the Olentunnel Club to call a meeting, if it was disrati?'ied with the Sub-Union, and a representative of the Canterbury Union would be present.
