TRAMWAY TEAMS' MATCHES.
(I'RESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, July 18. To-day tho first of a series ol Rugby matches between Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch Tramway teams, for the Kohn Dominion Tramway Shield, took place at Athletic Park. The match was between Auckland and Wellington, the former being the present holders. 'Ihe game ended in a draw, ninp points each. The tournament frill bo continued to-morrow afternoon, when Christchurch will play Auckland.
