Horses —At Tattorsall's on Saturday there was an entry ot 50 horses. Prices were.■-'-Draughts, up to £30; harness horses, £11 to £15; hacks, £A to- £8. Pigs—Thero was a fair entry .of pigs, and a slight impro\-eruent on th© previous week's prices for stores. Suckers and weaners made 2s 6d to 4s 3d, and stores 4s Cd to 17s. was a good entry and brisk demand. COALGATK. On Friday, at the Coalgate sale, 2030 sheep and iambs camo to haiici, IJoO beins in tho fat pens, ot which 110.) were lambs. The majority were light io medium-weight freezing sorts but a number wero only stores, and halt rho Yarding was made up of small lines. A few odd lots of wethers and ewes formed tho balance of fats. In the store pens, ewes (merino and crossbred) accounted for over half the entry, out wero of a noor class. Tho balance was mado up < : f lambs and wethers, both classes being inferior sorts, the attendance was moderate. Bidding was keen at full rates for all oi freezing quality, but stores mot with little competition, ami the bulk was passed at auction.
