PRESIDENT'S CUP.
Albion A and Lyttelton, both hitherto unbeaten, met at Lyttelton, tha former team winning by 5 points to 3. Stokes scored for Albion, and Machi n converted. Pascoo scored for Lyttelton. Mr Woods was referee. Linwood A defeated Christchurch B. on tho Linwood Park, by 9 points to 6. For the winners, Dixon kicked a penalty goal, and Watts and Mcintosh scored trios. Russell kicked a penalty goal and Fryer scored for tho losers. It was a hard and fast game. Referee: Mr Woods.
Sydenham and Christ's Collego met on the lattcr's ground, Sydenham winning, after a very hard game, by 11 points to 9. Guy (2) and Turnbull (1) scored for Sydenham, tho former kicking a goal. Playing on the Albion ground, Old Boys defeated Christchurch by -15 points to 8. For the winners, Guthrie, Boag, and Farrow scored tries, Owles converting all of them. For tho losers, Herman scored, and Matson dropped a goal and converted a fry. Referee: Mr J. Austin.
Richmond defeated Canterbury College by 23 points to nil. Hooper (3), J. Black.(1), and Reese (1) scored tries, and Hooper potted a goal and converted two tries. Referee: Mr L. Hardie.
Playing on tho Boys' High School ? round, Merivalo A were defeated by 8, points to 6 by High School. Tho scorers for School were: — W. Guiney (2), A. H. Guiney (1), Otley (1). Booth, Hickmott and W. Guiney converted a try each. For Merivalo J. Smith scored two tries. Referee: Mr H. C. Wilson.
Linwood B defeated Marists by 5 points to nil. Commons scored and converted for Linwood. W T . Barnett scored for Marists.
Linwood C defeated Albion B by 21 points to nil. McCracken (1), Clnny (1), Malloy (2), Maurice (1), Peacock (1), and Terrill (1) scored for Linwood.
