ASHBURTON.

At the monthly meeting of the Ashburton Borough tSchool Committee the headmaster (Mr G. Schneider) reported that the attendance for the month ending December 23rd had been an average of 372, the highest 392, and the roll number 403. The average attendance at tho Allenton School had been 98, highest 108, and the roll number 116. Mr W. Nosworthy, M.P.. forwarded £1 towards the school prize fund. Messrs Musin and Priest were appointed a visiting committee for the current month. Miss L. Burnard and Mr C. B. Harold were appointed pupil teachers.
