Didier Masson, a French aviator, while making an inter-town flight for the purpose of delivering newspapers, lost his way in the mountains at Pomona, California. He landed and repaired tho aeroplane, and resumed his journey, arriving at San Bernardino five hours forty minutes after leaving Los Angeles. While giving an exhibition at San Bernardino, the aeroplane fell and was wrecked, but Masson was unhurt. ARMY OFFICER'S MISHAP. LONDON, January B.* Captain Burke, of the Army Air Corps, was aeroplaning at Aldershot, when his rudder snapped. Ho fell 60 feet, but escaped with nothing worse than bruises. His Farman biplane was wrecked. FLYING IN AUSTRALIA. PERTH, January 9. Hammond rose 3000 feet and covered twelve miles, tfie return journey was performed at the rate of seventy miles an hour.
