» The Sumner Band rotunda will be opened to-night. Selections will be played by the Sumner, Woolston, and Defry's Bands. At St. Paul's Presbyterian Church to-night a lecture, entitled "An Evening with Handel." will be given. The ladies of St. Luke's will hold a sale of work in the schoolroom at 2,30 p.m. on Thursday, December Bth. A sale of work and fancy fair will be opened in" St. Saviour's Schoolroom, Sydenham, at 2.30 p.m. to-day. The monthly meeting of the Canterbury Fruitgrowers' Association will be held in the Druids' Hall on Saturday night. J
