In a shooting match for private prizes the Kfianoi lliiics lost Thursday jmd Saturday fired sewn shots at 1200, 500, and 600 yards. The liighcst scores wore :—Corpora] Richards KM (possible 105), Private J. W. Wright 100, Private H. AVrinlit 97, Lieutenant J. L. Conlan 95, Corporal Yellowleos 89, Private Temolcton 87 3 Lance-Corpora} Brydrn 85. ' Last Saturday, at the Kaiapoi range, Corporal Richards, of the local riiie company, made the possible score of 35 points each at 500 and 600 yards, and 134 points at 200 yards. The Kaiapoi Territorials, under Captain Hates, Lieutnants Conlan and Edmonds, and the military cadets, under Captain Oram. Lieutenants Dray and Stark, with some of the members of St. John Ambulance, went into camp I last night on the Kaiapoi golf links.
