SUCCESSFUL AUCTION SALE.
Messrs Craddock, McCrostic, held a most successful auction sale of properties in the estate, of the late Mr J. T. Hall, in their rooms on Saturday, when there was a largo attendance, and tho bidding was spirited. Lot 1, having 30ft 3in frontago to Gloucester street, with buildings, was knocked down to Air H. L. Bowker, for £100 por fooi. Lots 2, 3, and 4, having Gi l-3ft frontage to Cathedral square, was secured by 51 r B. Moore, for £190 per foot. Lot i'J, residential property in Hawke street, Now Brighton, was purchased by Mr T. A. Joynt, for £435. Lot 24, property on Lincoln road, Addington, containing 2a lr 220., was sold to Mr T. Andrews for £490. Lot b, residential property, Whiteleigh avenue, to Mr T. Joseph, for £500. Lot 20, 1 rood 18 porches, in Warwick street, to Mr J as. Robertson, for £75. Tho sale realised a total amount of close on £17,000.
