A very successful sale or property was held at Leeaton on Friday, on account of the trustees in the estate ot the late Saimiel Ballagh. Ballagh, at £20 per acre; lot 5, 27 perches, known as tho Lecston Corner, opposite tho Police Court, and bounded by High street and Lake road, Mr A. Quißley, at £605; lot 6, 1 rood 32 perches and cottage, situated on corner of Woodville road and main Lees ton and Lakeside road, Mr F. J. Holley, at £140; cottage and section on Woodrille street, Mr Ivan Mcfiill, at £100. A keen interest was taken in the sale, and bidding for practically ail the lots was spirited.
