Tho committee reports that the cour.o ia now in piayjble order, and although there is still some wcrk to be expended on tho putting grcMis, thf*e should be in playable condition next week. It has been decided to hs'-e an ofliciul opening of the club on Saturday. 30th inst. HAG LEY CLUB. The Hagley Club is, unfortunately, still experiencing some difficulty in rrepect to the exceptional growth of grass, which the club has had no opportunity to kt*p down until tecentlv. The cour_e is playable, however, and on Saturday the men's first monthly medal match will be played. Tbo committee expects to atnnge for the grass to be cut again during the coming week, and aa the greens are in geed order play should be in full swing by Saturday next.
