FERGUSON MINING AND SMELTING COMPANY. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
AUCKLAND, April 21.
At an extraordinary meeting of the Ferguson Mining and Smelting Company, the chairman stated that £1000 was required to discharge certain liabilities. Ho thought it best to wind up creditably, without sacrificing their plant, nnd ho moved that the company be wound up voluntarily. Mr Derenzy offered to find £23,000 within six months for continuing operations, if the capital was written down, and the proposal for reconstruction having been moved, the meeting adjourned for a week.
