Messrs Gilbert Anderson and Co., writing under date London, March llih, report that the receipts of frozen mutton for February were: —Mutton, carcases; lamb, 497,750 carcases: frozen beef, 154,850 quarters; and chilled beef. 117.1Kb quarters. The March shipments advised to date were: —Mutton: New Zealand. 94,000 carcases: Australia. 58.000: River Plate, 10,800: total, 171,800 carcases. Lambs: New Zealand. 123.000; Australia, 13,000; River Plate, 4-50: total, 136.-150 carcases. Frozen beef:—Nrw Zealand, .19.600; Australia. 375(1; River Plate. 12,500; total. 35,e.Al quarters. Chilled beef: River Plate. 10,000 quarters.
