Full details of the Satara disaster will not be available before the morning, when the steamer Dorrigo with the rescued crew ia esj*ected to reach Sydney. . . ' ' The latest reports from Seal Rocks state that all hands excepting two coclics were saved. When the Satara left Newcastle this morning a heavy sea was running, with fierce squalls. She struck just outside Seal Hocks, and lies about five miles south by east front the lighthouse, right in the course of coastal vetaelfi, with the waves breaking over her. "When the Satara was in distress she passed the Orara, but did not speak her. The lighthouse signalled the Orara to render assistance, and the latter vessel at once made for tiie ecene. In the meantime the sinking vessel launched her boats, four getting clear ju6t before she plunged under. The castaways came alongside the Orara with difficulty, owing to the heavy sea. "When they got aboard it was discovered that two coolies were missing. Tbe> steamer Dorrigo came on the scene and assisted' in a futile search for the missing men. The two rescue steamers proceeded to Seal Rocks Bay, where the Dorrigo took the castaways on board and proceeded to Sydney.
