Redmond's team, Southern Cross, Inchbonny, and Eaglestone all did good half-pace work, as did a number of others, including Shillelagh, Canronier, Equivocate, Tiaraed, Merry Lass, Passion, White Cockade. Craig Athol, Ideate, Broadsword, Love Wisely, Martine. Aunt Sally, Obligate, Paragon, Pretty Nell, True Knight, Ploughshare, Nithsdale, Windgun, Lupenn, Sapience, Veda, The Libyan, and Beau Brocade. Stepenfeldt was galloped once round.
