EGG-LA TING COMPETITIONS
The official report of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's fifth egglaring competition at Lincoln College shows that 978 «ggs were laid during the past -sreck, bringing the total Iα rate to 43,333. The best layings for the week -were:—T. Kennedy's White Wyandottos 33, R. Bsurker"s T\*hite Laghorns 33, H. Barneit's Brown Leghorns 31, Mts Jas. Milk's White Leghorns 31, Jas. Thomson's White Leghorns 31. ELawke and Shaw's White Leghorns 30. The highest totals to date are:—F. R. Cameron's White Leghorns 1219, Mrs Jas. Mills's White Leghorns 1202. W. Belch's White Leghorns 1137, Miss E! Hearfield's White Leghorns 1125, G. H. Robinson's White Leghorns 1121, Haivke . and Shaw's White Leghorns 1116, R. Willis and Sons' White Leghorns 1095, H.
