SEDITION IN INDIA.
A SMART CAPTURE AT BOMBAY.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—-Copyright. CALCUTTA, January 30. A Hindu passenger by tihe steamer Sydney, from Marseilles, w.as axreated at Bombay. He carried a revolver and prescriptions for making bombs. Seditious pamphlets were found concealed in a false-bottomed box. Tho prisoner was sentenced to two and a half years' imprisonment for importing arms without a license.
