The Railway" Department has issued a circular stating that the Minister has cancelled the existing by-law regulating the weight of wheat, oats, and barley carried in one sack, and that from February Ist the weight of cereals and agricultural produce conveyed by railway in one sack is restricted to 2001bs, exclusive of the weight of the sack. The nenalty for sending overweight bags is a charge of four times the ordinary rate.
