Easy tasks were allotted to the majority of the horses at Awapuni this morning, nearly all those out doing alow work, cantering or trotting. Beautiful weather prevails, and the tracks are ,in splendid order. . Of those that worked Nyland woo much too good for Crucinella over five furlongs, which waa left behind in lmin 4sec on the plough. A couple of J. Lowe's team, Truganini and Lord Kelvin, followed over the same course, and reeled it off a couple of ticks quicker, the colt running excellently. The Multiform colt Polymorphous, which is engaged in the Sires' Produce Stakes, is one of the gross sort, and the work allotted to him is on a liberal scale. He has galloped during the last two mornings, and this morning waa too good for the Captain Webb colt Seaweed over half a mile, covered in Slsec. Light work waa done by Gold Measure, Full Cry, Gold Water, Osiris, Tumut, Paisano, Koran, Tawhaki, Bridge. Separator, Winning Post, Bally Shannon, Wimmera, Sir Solo, Formeden, Marathon, and several others.
