LICENSING COMMITTEES.
CHRISTCHURCH
The quarterly meeting of the Christchurch Licensing Committee was held yesterday, when there were present:— The Rev. It. S. Gray (in the chair), Messrs C. E. Salter, W. A. Sinclair, and H. Forwood. An apology for absence was received from Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., j the chairman of the committee! ; Sub-Inspector MoGrath said that tlie police reports were satisfactory. j Transfers were granted as follows: — i Caversham Hotel, John Bourne to j Leslie William Johnson (Mr Thompson) , Sandridge Hotel, James Power to George Holt; New Zealander Hctel, William Quirk to James Power; Grosvenor Hotel, John Jackson to Patrick Sarsfield Flood (Mr O'Maliey).
