RINGLEADER IN THE MOUNTAINS.
BUSINESS PARALYSED AT ATHENS. (Received November Ist, 10.25 p.m. LONDON, November 1. It is believed at Athens that Lieut. Typaldos and other fugitives have reached the mountains, and may elude pursuit owing to their local popularity. Business at Athens is almost at a standstill. Many people beliove that the only solution will bo for the King to invite the. Military League to form a Cabinet. The King has hitherto re~ .fused to have direct relations -with the League. ATHENS, November 1. The action of the authorities in preventing two of Lieut. Typaldoe'a confederates from rejoining their ships really accounted for the failure of the revolt. The mutinous destroyers on Friday night attempted to escape from Salamis. but the loyal ships prevented them. Tho officers then landed.
