RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES.
i Monday. On acoonnt of the heavy rain which fell work had to be wholly suspended on Saturday, and only a few teams ventured out on Sunday to do a jog around the roods. A number o£ horses were worked this morning, but the tracks being exceedingly heavy and sloppy, nothing beyond steady work waa lnin. The grass track will be open tomorrow (Tuesday), and trainers will haire an opportunity of doing some tost work. 11. Hickey arrived from Australia with Muiidic and Knirotna on Friday, and W. Griffiths with Bandstr?am and Forest reached Ricovion en Saturday.
