I was greatly j pleased to hear the kindly and friendly j words uttered by you in the reception; i and the welcome words from the Con- t sular representatives and other gentlemen whom you kindly invited to" meet m? on tho occasion, also gave mc cheer and gratification. It is my eincere wish that during mv sojourn here by the efficient aid and co-operation of t'is intelligent and broadminded gentienr.en of this country a better understanding and more friendly feeling may be created and promoted between the peoples of.
