He sustained severe internal injuries, and his recovery is uncertain. Ataahua will be scratched for the Grand National Hurdle Race. Ataahua. by Mahaki, from Basilisk, was a prominent member of D. J. Price's team of jumpers. He wm engnged in the V.B.C. Grand National Hurdle Race at list 7lb. and was considered to have excellent prospects in that event.
