Thft barque- Jessie Craig left Auckland on Wednesday in ballast for Newcastle, where ehe will load cool for Lyttelton. The SHaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer llatatua left Plymouth on April 7th for Auckland, Wellington, end Timaru. The vessel is bringing 3500 toes of cargo from London, and is due at Auckland on May 22nd.
The Ulimaroa is duo here early this moruinc from Wellington, and will tail thin a«t«nc'oa lor Dunedin, Bluff, Hobart, and MclAided by the northerly gale the Woottoii made a smart ruu of 26 hours from Nydia Bay to Lyttelton, arriving here at 3.10 α-m. yesterday. If the state of the bar permits, the vessel will leave to-day for Kaiapoi to load for Foston, but if not. she will probably proceed direct to Wellington, where she is to be laid up for overhaul and survey. The Koonya is expected to-arrive here tomorrow from Southern ports, and will sail in the evening for Wellington, New Plymouth, Westoort, end Greyniouth. Some very large lines of frozen meat, wool, and cheese," as well as a considerable quantity "f "general" cargo were loaded at hyitelton by the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Uuapehu, which sailed last night for Wellington. The vessel will fill up at Wellington, and will leave that port nest Thursday for London, via way ports. Owing to a shortage of railway the Kini, which arrived from Westport and Greymouth yesterday afternoon, has not yet commenced discharging her cargo of coal and timber, and consequently will not get away until next week. The Rosamond, which hae also b:en hampered by the shortage of trucks, is expected to sail this afternoon for. Greymouth. . Yesterday morning the Rakanoa, which for a- considerable time been a "landmark" in the port, was floated-into dock for cleaning, painting, and overhaul. She will be refloated to-morrow, when she will sail for Greyniouth direct. Tne Moana, which arrived from Melbourne, via Southern Ports, yesterday morniug-, had about 800 tons of cargo for Lyltelton, which included a largo " quantity ci cheeee- from the Bluff for transhipment to the Ruapehu, and also a large quantity of harvesting machinery originally from New York, and transhipped at Melbourne, which will be reEhipped at Lytslton in the Rakaia for Bahia The Moana leaded about 350 tons of cargo, most of which consisted of hides, pelts, and onions for transhiprr ent at .Sydney to Vancouver. Owing to her having to handly nearly 1200 tor>3 rf cargo, tho vessel <*id not get away for Wellington until 12.35 this morning.
