LYTTELTON.

Mr G. C. Smith, J.P., presided at the Lyttelton Magistrate's Court yesterday. Harry Connelly, chargoel with having travelled on the Waikare on Tuesday night from Wellington to Lyttelton, without paying his fare, was fined 10s, and ordered to pay the amount of hia fare, l'2s _dl, in default, 14 days' imprisonment.
