The Department of Industries and Commerce has received from the High Commissioner the following additional cable advice, dated January 25th, with regard to the hemp market:—The hemp market is lifeless, and no improvement can be looked for until thero aro lighter shipments from Manila, the output from which has amounted to 3000 bales.
