MONEY CLUB.

CHRISTCHURCH AND ST. ALBANS. The half-yearly meeting of the Christchurch and St. Albans Co-opera-tive Money Club wns held last evening, the president, Mr "W. E. D. Bishop, in •the chair. There was a fair attendance of shareholders.

The thirty-third half-yearly report and balance-sheet; which were adopted, showed that the capital of the club was £28,141 12s 3d, an increase of £2878 14s Id for the half-year. Loans amounting to £6610 os had been granted during the half-year, and the total amount lent was £119,163 4s Id. The profit and loss account showed a credit balance of £1023 16s 10d. Tho committee recommended a dividend at the rate of 9d iv the £1 on each complete 10a. There were 724 members. hol_____ 3828 shares.

The usual bonuses were granted to the trustees, and a vote of thanks to the chairman closed the meeting.
