TO THE EDITOR OF •'THE TKESS." Sir, —I received a' handbill this osy from tho liquor party, and niter carefully reading it, I notieod that in one plnco it said that if No-Hcenso ivcre carried in Christchurch, no poor person would be able to get beer, only tho higher class of people. In another part it cays that when Xo-licenso is carried there -will not bo one sixionf , :!! loss beer drunk in Christchurch, and that there ivij] be sly-grog shops. I think that if any person carefully read that handbill, they wou-!d say tbat tho Honor porty woro contradicting themselves.—i'ours, etc., t H. W. B.
