There was a slightly larger entry of poultry at the sales on Saturday than there has been for tho last month. There was a good attendance of buyers, competition was still keen, and! prices, very good. Tbo following wero the sales: —Roosters 5e _k_ to 7a lOd, hens 4s to 6s Id, ducks os to 6s 9d, ducklings oa 3d to 6s lOd, small ducklings Is 9d to 2e 7d, hens with ducklings 8s 3d —all at per pair. Th© egg market is still very firm, with an upward ten--dency.
