On Friday, at Kirwee market, thore was an^ entry of about 3000 sheep and lambs, Which, with the exception of 120, were all in the store pens, hoggets accounting for 1900, chiefly good"sorts. Tho balance of the entry was made up of ewes with lambs at foot. There was a good attendance, but th© sale was a disappointing one, bidding being dragging for most lots, dospito tho abundance of feed now snowing everywhere. Prices were:—Fat wethers 16s 7d to 18s Bd, fat crossbred, ewes 13s 6d, crossbred ewe hoggets 13s lid to loff, mixed sexes 10a 4i to 14s 6d, wethers 12s od. halfbred wether hoggets 12s sd, six and* eight-tooth crossbred, ewes with lambs at foot 11© 4d to 12s (all counted), sound-mouth merino ewes with lambs at foot 8s 2d (all counted).
