OnFiliday, at Kirwee sale, there tvas a yarding of about 2609 sheep (including lambs), of wJiiah 270 wore in tho fat pens, consisting of Oioggets and fat ewes, and ono small pen of forward wethers. In the store pens hoggets formed nearly half the entry, the balance consisting of ewes in lamb and with lambs at foot, and a lino of about 250 wethers. There was a gocd attendance, and owing no doubt to tho good general rain and the assurance of plenty of feed, bidding showed a stronger tone than for some time past, with t3ie exception of th© lino of wethors (which was withdrawn). All elates found buyers at. better rates, particularly ewes with lambs at foot. Pricea wero:—Fat hoggets 15s 3d to 17s 6d, fat crossbred ewes 14s 9d to 156 3d, fat raorino ewes 8s 7d, forward crossbred wethers 16s fid, ewe hoggets 13s lid to 15s Id, wether hoggets lis Id to lis lid, mixed sexes lis lid to 13s sd, four, sax and eight-tooth crossbred ewes with lambs at foot (all counted) 12s 3d, two-tooths 12s Id, sotrod'-mouth 10s lOd, 7s 9d, soundmonth merino owes with lambs at foot Gs 6d (all counted), failing-mouth crossbred ewes in lamb 13s, aged lis 6d.
