CORRESPONDENCE.

; 9 , CHRISTCHURCH NORTH. TO THE EDITOR OF "THE PRESS." •Sir, —I am glad to see a letter from T. E. Taylor published in your Saturday's issue, under the above heading, in which ho says ho has not any definite plans.

I, for one ,hope ho will not stand for Christchurch North, as I like my representative to keep his word. A •'Truth" reporter asked.Mr T. E. Taylor, on tho 29th June, 1906, if he had anything to say in regatd to the suggestion should stand' for Westkind, l but the ex-member ridiculed the idea, saying that he was out of politics for good, and had not the slightest intention of atteinpti- g to re-enter the political arena.—Yours, etc., ELECTOR.
