EVENING SITTING.

The House resumed at 7.30 p.m. INCORPORATED SOCIETIES. Tho PREMIER moved the second reading of the Incorporated Societies Bill. The object of the Bill, ho said, was to give greater scoi>e to societies not registered under tho Unclassified Societies Registration Act, and was designed to make more adequate provision for the incorporation, management;, control, and dissolution of the societies to which it related.

Mr STEVENS said Racing Clubs were at a great disadvantage in not being ablo to register. Tiity desired to be able to register, so that their property oonld bo vested in themselves instead of trustees.

Tho PREMIER said that Racing Clubs were not debarred from registering under the Bill. The second reading was agreed to on the voices.
