NOTES AND MENMORANDA.
A summoned meeting of the Court Star of Canterbury, A.0.F., will bo hrlfl on Monday at 8 p.m.
The Stanmore Band will give selections in Hagloy Park to-morrow afternoon, at 2.30. A collection will bo made in aid of the Christchurch Band Contest Fund.
Tho annual meeting of the Domestic Workers' Union will be held in tho Trades' Hall, on Wednesday next, at 8.15 n.m.
A concert arranged by the Cantorbury Ladies' Hockey Association will take nlare in His Majesty's Theatre on the 24th inst.
At the Spiritualists' Church, Worcester street, Mr Joseph Isherwood, a Lancashire sneaker and clairvoyant, will conduct the usual service to-ruor-row. Tho subject will be, "St. Paul on Spiritual Gifts."
An organ recital will be given by Mr Percy S. Brown, at tho East Belt Methodist Church, on Tuesday evening. Miss Allison and Mr Schwartz will give vocal solos, and the church choir two anthems.
The North Canterbury Poultry Show at Rangioni on Friday includes a larger number, of entries than any previous show had tihere.
