- : f— FATALITY AT BARRY'S BAY.
A fatal accident oocuared yesterday arternocm at Barry's Bay, by which Mr Tircmson, the _ well-known Peninsula waggoner of Little River, lost his life. Accompanied by his son, he was taking a load of chaff, to Barry's Bay, and descending Barry's Bay hill Thomson went to the back of the waggon tn apply the brakes, leaving has eon to drive. On reaching the bottom, he released the brakes, and was going quiakly to the front of the waggon to get up, when his foot slipped on the grass into tlie gutter. Thomson fell with his head betm-een the wheels, -behind one passing over his head. The body was taken to Duvauchelle's, where an inquest will be held to-day.
