A WELLINGTON BANKRUPTCY.
« ARREST OF A.C. ELLIOTT. (PBKSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELIdNGTON, May 11. Tho police are advised that Albert Ola.renco Elliott, the missing Wellington bankrupt, surrendered to the j police at Auckland to-day. Elliott had just returned from Sydney, and intended to come on to Wellington, but ho ran short of funds. He will be formally charged with theft at Auckland to-morrow morning, and remanded to Wellington. AUCKLAND, May 10. Elliott, tho bankrupt land and estate agent, or Wellington, walked into the j police station this morning, and gave himself up to the police. He arrived from Sydney by the Moana to-day.
