THE LICENSING BILL.
(Received , May 6th, 12.22 a.m.) LONDON, May 5. Lord Robert Cecil presented a London petition to Parliament bearing 000,000 signatures, covering nine miles of paper, against the Licensing Bill. Mr John Wilson, presented a petition a mile and one-third in. length, containing 169,510 signatures of Methodists, in favour of tie Bill.
