At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association held on Tuesday owning, it was reported that challenges in connection with the challenge shield had been received from PaJmerstoji North. Canterbury, and Taranaki, aaid it was decided that Taranaki, having first claim, should play Auckland for the shield, which they now held, the two associations to select a referee to bo approved by the New Zealand Assooiation..
