1 The Bennett's Sports wore held on Easier Monday. The weather was fine and the attendance large, and a good day's sport was enjoyed. Cumberland Wrestling—Neale 1, J. Courtney 2. Oldtimers Race (over 40) —J. Cross 1, Lyons 2. lSOvds Haindicap—J.. Murray, Byds/ 1; Pickering, Byds, 2. First Trot, one mile—J. Croft' 6 Sam 1, J. Fenwiek's Skip 2 (prize £2 2s, presented by Dalgety and Co.). Second Trot .: —J. Cowan's Jacob 1, T. Vincent's Jewel 2. The prise for tttue best allround athlete was "won iby F. Neale (23 points), T. Oromie (10 points) being second.
