Meriva-1.. defeated -Canterbury College on the North Park by 16 points (two goals and two tries) to nil. For the winners tries were scored by L. Cade (_■), H. Soanes, and K. Kerr. Ingham and W. Rogers' converted one each. Mr C. Buchanan was referee. The contest between Christchurch and Old Boys provided a very fast and interesting game, Christchurch winning by 19 points to 3. For the winners _lillar. who played a fine game, scored two tries, and .Vinney. Pawnsley and Moore one each. Levdon and -Millar kickfd goals. Bigg-"Wither scored for Old Boy.. Mr H. ILiddlestone was referee. Albion journeyed to Lyttelton and w_rn defeated by the local Pirates' team by 8 point, (a goal and a try) to .'J (a try). I'or the? winners, Morris and Gillard scored tries, one of which Morris converted. Talbot scored for the losers. M r H. F. Garrard was referee. A collect-.):, for the Bay ley memo rial fund r«v_.lisod £1. Sydenham and Linwood met on Sydenham Park, the jranie resulting in a win for the former by 11 points to nil. Mr C. I.cad was relercc.
