Linwood A. playing two men short, were defeated by .Sydenham A by 25 points to ... Tries for the winners were obtained by Murlitt (_), Thomp son, Bussell. Avails, Hayes, Hobb_. .Murfitt and Bussell converted one each. Prosper scored for the losers. Mr S. F. Binns was referee.

Tho Merivale—Christchurch B match proved a farce. After having _•> points scored against them in the first spell, Christchurch retired. Playing on Christchurch Ground. Old Hoys A team defeated Christchurch (,' by 19 points to _■ prints. For the winners. G. Guthrie (•_>), McLurg, Dwyer, and Cooke scored tries, whilst C'ogan converted two. and for the losers, Rowley soo_ed a try, which Muliins converted. Roys' High .School defeated Chri.fchurch A by 22 points to 8. For the •School, Simpson (1), Patterson and Bcttle scored" tries, two of which i\oro converted by Crawshaw. For Christchur.ch, Deakin and P. Jones scored, Deakin converting one. Tho match between iSumner and O'd Boys played at Sumner, resulted in a win tor Sumner by 22 points to nil. ( Sydenham defeated Merivale B nt Sydenham by lo points to 3. The losers were two men short. Canterbury College were defeated by Kaiapoi a.t Kaiirpoi -by 17 points to 3. For the winners, tries were scored by Turnbull, Hayman, Brier.v, Hunt and Pearco, one of which Hayman converted. Deacon scored for the losers. Mr D. Woods was referee. Richmond, showing superiority in all departments of tho game, easily defeated I}e!fast, at Belfast, by 34 point, to ni.i. . Tries were scored by 11. Haughey (3), B. Cross (2), and Chapman, Hewitt, Weblev. Aoplevard and Walls (1 each). H. Haughey' and W. Buckett each converting a try.
