WHARF LABOURERS' GRIEVANCES.
At a mass meeting of wharf labourers it was decided, ac a mark of sympathy with tho Newcastle wharf labourers, not to handle the cargo of vessels belonging to the North "Coast Company, Newcastle Company or llkuvara Company. Tho dispute is over tho rartee of ipay, amd tho question of tho reinstatement of certain men on tQie wliarvoe. (Reeoiv«l January lObh, 1 a.m.) No Unionist wliarf labourers offered themselves at the Newcastle of Illewarra oompanit^s , wharves to-day. The work of loading «-nd discharging is being dono by* crows of the vessels and free labourora. The North Coast Company is practically unaffected, as it has employed non-unioniets for some timo. Tho position at tho Newcastle wharves is unaltered.
