4 A very old identity of Lyttelton—Mr Thomcts Sutton—diod ynstordav moruiul; at his residor.ee, Suninor road. -Mr Sirfcton arrived in Wellington in 18oi), and came to Lytt-olton two years later. Ho was in business as a builder for twenty-seven years, in partnership with Mr Weastoil. Mr Sutton. who was greatly respected by all who knew him. never took an active part in public affairs, but was one of the founders of the. Foresters' Lodge in Lyttoltoia. Deceased, who ivas in his 73rd year, leaves a widow and five sons and three daughters. Mr \Y.
