NIMROD LIMERICKS.

Tho limerick oraio which hes been agitating Britain for reveral months was not absent on that floating portion of the British Isles represented by the Nimrod. One of the poetical competitions was a .prize for the best limeridks dealing with subjects of interest to those on board. The winner of the prise amongst the crew was a young native of Govan, near Glasgow —one of the youngest of the ship's company. His verses are as follows:— The Nimrod's » staunch ship «nd true.
