Renter's Toulon correspondent states that the submarines Bonite and Sonffleur, at a depth of 90 feet, collided during a shorn attack on the battleship Jaureguiberry, owing to an error of judgment on the part of the Bonito's commamder. When the Souiffleur'a oon-ning-tower vrae struck the vessel began to fill. She esoemled to the surface. The Bonite, in coming to her anoe, again collided with her. The rest of the fleet noticed 1 nothing, though the accident happened only 400 yards nivey. The submarines regrinod port safely.
