DUNEDIN WOOL SALES.

(special to "th* press.") DUNEDIN, November 22. Tho Dunedin wool sales open on December 19th, and the present condition of the market, as gauged by the prices ruling at CbF lstch . urc terdajr, make th© position in W rather interesting. Some wool brokers anticipate a decline in prices for all grades of wool. The clip for this season is expected to bo largo, but the influences of strained commercial and financial conditions in other lands are expected to have a detrimental effect on prices in thiß part of the world. The September sales in London were productive of lower prices than those obtained at tho January sales in Dunedin, a fact which ono authority considers proves that local prices were too high. The latest London advioes hint of a further fall in prices for -wool towards tho end of the year, and suggest that the American financial position will affect the markets.
