JUDGING AT RANGIORA SHOW.
TO THE EDITOR OF "THB PRESS." Sir t —in reply to c letter eigned "Carbide" in your issue of November 7th. with regard to the judging at Ttangiora Show, will you kindly allow mo space for a few words. In the draught section, in class 6, for two-year-old fillies, the two judges disagreed, and a third was celled in from the other ring, who placed Pride' first and Helen Douglas second. The Grand Champion prize was a does for draught two-vear-olda, colte, fillies, or geldings, bred end owned by exhibitor, and any animel entered for it had a right to go into the ring and oompWe for it. In judging it the four judge* £ ; sagreed, and a fifth was called in. who gave his decision in favour .of Helen Douglee. The truth seems to be that both fillies were go good there was littlo to choose between them, and possibly the judging seemed somewhat confusing to persons taking elight interest in it.—Yours, etc., FAIBPLAY.
